1-Painted Flowerpot craft
What you need-
1-Unglazed clay flowerpot
2-Acrylic paint
3-Paint Brushes
4- Optional: A pack of seeds or potting soil and a young plant 5- Optional: Cellophane and ribbon to wrap the plant pot and plant
Instructions-
1-Using acrylic paints, decorate a clay paint pot. Butterflies, plants, or polka dots are nice, simple decorations. If you will be adding a plant to the flowerpot, a painting of that plant is a nice touch. **Let it dry completely.**
2-Optional: fill the plant pot with potting soil and plant the seed of a fast-growing flower (like marigolds) or put in a small plant (herbs like chives are a nice choice).
3-Wrap with cellophane, and tie with a pretty ribbon.
2-Woven heart basket Craft
What you need-
1-Two pieces of paper (Each a different color , or use felt)
2-pen/ pencil
3-scissors
4-glue or stapler
Instructions
1-For each basket, you'll need 2 strips of colored paper (use 2 different colors). Fold each piece of paper in half. Cut the folded paper into two halves (along the dotted line), into long rectangles. The exact dimensions of the paper rectangles don't matter as long as the two pieces that make a basket are the same size.
2-Place the 2 folded rectangles on top of each other, rotated 90° from each other. Draw a thin pencil line along the edge of one side onto the other rectangle.
3-Place the rectangles exactly on top of each other, making sure that the folds are on top of each other.
4-Mark each strip as shown in the picture. The number of strips you cut and their width doesn't really matter; just make each strip at least 1/2 inch wide so they don't break too easily. Cut along the new dotted lines.
5-In regular weaving, strands are woven "under" and "over" each other; in this basket the weaving is "through" and "around."
Start the weaving by weaving strip 1 through slit A, around strip B, through slit C, etc., until the row is finished. Push this row to the back, where the slits end.
6-Continue the weaving with strip B. Weave it through slit 1, around strip 2, through slit 3, etc., until this row is finished. Continue until all the rows are done.
7-Cut a strip of paper (about 1/2 inch by 6-7 inches) for the basket's handle. Glue or staple it to the front and back of the basket.

3-Flower pot Pen holder
What you need-
1-Small, unglazed clay (terracotta) flowerpot
2-Plaster of Paris
3-Large plastic bowl and stirrer (to mix the plaster)
4-A ballpoint pen with a top
5-Green paint
6- Paint brush
7-Green Florist tape
8-Tissue Paper
9-Disposable rubber gloves
10-Hot glue gun and glue
Instructions
1-Have an adult mix an amount of Plaster of Paris that will almost fill the flowerpot (use the directions on the package). Mix the plaster water in a sturdy container (a disposable plastic container is the easiest) - the plaster should be stiff but creamy. Do not mix the plaster with your hands - use a stick as a stirrer. Wear plastic gloves to protect your hands. Do not breathe in the plaster dust. Pour the plaster in the flowerpot. Before it hardens, push one or more pen tops into the plaster. (Note: the plaster hardens quickly.)
2-When the Plaster of Paris hardens, paint it green.
3-Decorate the pen to look like a flower (or use a green pen). First, wrap the pen with green florists' tape.
4-Make a tissue paper flower and glue it (using hot glue) to the end of the pen.
5-Put the decorated pen in the flowerpot (place it in its own top). You now have a great gift for someone you care for.

4-Scary mouth pop up card.
what you need-
1- two pieces of paper
2-paste
3-scissors
3-crayons /and or markers
Instructions
1-Fold a piece of paper in half. Cut a line about 2 inches long (5 cm) about the middle of the crease.
2-Fold back each of the flaps to make 2 triangles.
3-Open up the card.
4-Lay it down like a v.
5-Push one of the triangles up and pinch the edges together above the card.
6-Repeat with the other triangle.
7-Close the card and push down on the folds to make them well-creased.
8-When opened, you have a pop-up mouth.
9-Fold another piece of paper in half (a different color looks great).
10-Glue this new card to the outside of your pop-up card. Don't glue near the mouth area or it won't open! Let the glue dry.
11-Draw a scary animal around the mouth and finish decorating your card.
12-For variations on this card, don't cut a straight line - cut a wavy line or a zigzag for scary teeth. You can even make more than one mouth for 2 monsters or a two-headed monster. This pop-up area also looks a lot like a bird's beak or a shark's mouth.
5-Butterfly card craft
what you need-
1-Construction Paper
2-Pencil
3-Scissors
4-Hole Punch
5-Glue stick
6-Markers or crayons
7-Optional-Glitter or glue
Instructions-
1-Fold two pieces of construction paper in half, making two card shapes
2-Put the two folded cards together (one inside the other).
Along the fold of one of them, draw half a butterfly.
3-Keeping the two cards together, cut along the line you just drew. You will now have two butterflies.
4-On only one of the butterflies, fold it in half again and draw a smaller butterfly within it.
Cut along the line you just drew.
5-Using the hole punch, make a series of holes along the edges of the two pieces you just cut.
6-Glue one of these pieces onto the larger, uncut butterfly.
8-Flip the large butterfly over, and glue on the other cut piece.
9-Cut a black or brown body for your butterfly. Glue it onto the inside of your butterfly.
You now have a nice butterfly card. Write a message on your card.
**Optional: Decorate your butterfly with crayons, markers, glitter glue, or glitter.**
6-Festive Flower Napkin Ring Crafts
What you need-
1-Felt -Green plus atleast one other color

2-After drawing or printing cut out the three pieces to use as templates.
3-Cut out the leaves from green felt and the other two pieces from another color or colors. Make a 1 inch slit on the leaves piece and the other petals piece (but not the bone-shaped piece).
4-Slip the green piece onto the bone-shaped piece. Then slip the petal piece onto the same end.
5-Slip the other end of the bone-shaped piece through the green piece and the petal piece. The bone-shaped piece should form a loop.
6-Slip a rolled-up napkin through the loop in the bone-shaped piece and you're done.
7-Preten stained glass-
what you need-
1-Wax Paper
2-Crayons
3-Crayon sharper
4-scissors
5-any flat objects(like glitter , dried leaves , stickers, paper scraps, pictures from magazines etc)
6-An iron. You'll encase the flat objects and crayon shavings in waxed paper, iron it, and then hang your masterpiece from a window!
Instructions
1-Cut 2 pieces of waxed paper (the same size). Choose any size that you want your masterpiece to be. Cut them to be matching shapes.
2-Collect flat things that you want to encase in the waxed paper. Put one piece of the waxed paper on a flat surface. Arrange the objects on the paper. Add crayon shavings for color accents (these will melt later on). The easiest way to get crayon shavings is by using a crayon sharpener.
3-This part is for an adult to do. Put a few layers of newspaper on your ironing board. Put the waxed paper artwork on top of this. Put the second piece of waxed paper on top of the artwork. Carefully put a few layer of newspapers on top of the whole thing. Now iron it on medium heat, checking it frequently to make sure it isn't burning. Stop ironing when the waxed paper layers are stuck together and the crayon shavings are melted.To help avoid unsealed parts, try to leave a rim of waxed paper around the edges without any fillings.
4-When the artwork has cooled off, trim the edges carefully; using pinking shears on the edges can look nice (don't trim right near any of the fillings). If there any unsealed parts, patch them with some transparent tape. Punch a hole near the top for hanging (or just use tape).
