2-Paper Quilt Square-
What you need-
1-Colored Paper
2-Ruler
3-Scissors
4-Glue Stick
5-Pencil
6-4-inch white poster board square
Instructions-
1-Cut the colored paper into 6- by 1-inch strips. Then cut the strips into six 1-inch squares.
2-Next, snip most of the squares in half diagonally to create triangles
3-Now experiment with various quilting patterns by arranging the pieces on top of the poster board square. Then glue the pieces in place.
3-Paper Mobiles
What you need-
1- Heavyweight paper, such as card stock or scrapbooking paper
2-Scissors
3-Tacky Glue
4-Ribbon or twine
5-Beads (optional)
Instructions-
1-For each paper ornament, cut 3 identical, symmetrical shapes from the card stock (cookie cutters make great templates). Fold each shape in half on the same axis.
2-Glue together the halves of 2 of the shapes and lay the ribbon or twine down the center of them.
3-Match the third shape to the other two and glue it in place. (Hold the pieces together with clothespins if they're not sticking.)
4-Repeat steps 1 through 3 to make as many ornaments as you like. You can string beads between the shapes if desired.
4-Paper Star
What you need-
1-Paper
2- Scissors
Instructions
1-Fold an 8 1/2- by 11-inch sheet of paper in half.
2-Fold A to midpoint of red line.
3-Fold B up over blue line
4-Fold edge C behind so it meets up with edge D.
5-Cut along green line and open...Surprise!

5-Paper Snakes
What you need-
1-Card stock or scrap book paper
2-Magazine
3-Ball point Pen
4-Scissors
5-Marker or Gel Pen
Instructions
1-Place a large sheet of card stock or scrapbook paper (ours were 12 by 12 inches) facedown on a magazine. Use a ballpoint pen to draw a curvy line on the paper, pressing firmly enough to score the paper. For a snake that coils over itself like the ones pictured, draw curves that wind close to one another.
2-Using your line as a guide, cut out the snake (ours are about one inch at their widest point).
3-Flip the snake over and pinch the scored line to add dimension to the body. Wrap the snake around itself for added effect. Add eyes with a marker or gel pen.
6-Flower Paper Plate Craft-
What you need-
1-Paper Plate
2-Colorful construction paper
3-Scissors
4-Glue or stapler
Instructions
1-Trace your hand on colorful construction paper atleast 10 times.
2-Cut out the hand tracings.
3-Glue or staple a cirle of handprint tracings (fingers pointing outwards) around the outside of the plate - the fingers are the flower's petals.
4-Glue or staple a second circle of handprint tracings (fingers pointing outwards) just inside the first circle.
5-Glue or staple a third circle of handprint tracings at the center of the plate.
6-Glue a small paper circle in the center of the flower.
7-Star Wreath-
What you need-
1- Red , white and blue construction paper
2-Paper Plate
3-Scissors
4-Glue
5-Optional-Glitter
Instructions-
1-Cut a large hole in the paper plate
2-Cut out a lot of stars from red, white and blue construction paper.
3-Glue the stars to the paper plates
Optional: Decorate the stars with the names of the children or soldiers. Also, glitter is a nice decorative touch.
